The next regular scheduled NIOA meeting will be held in late July or early August 2023 at MC Newman High School starting at 5:30pm. An Event will be published thru Arbiter when the date is finalized. We will have pizza and a drink for all members starting at 5:30pm. Agenda: Meal, business meeting at 6:00pm followed by going over the football and volleyball tests. Please bring a completed copy of your football or volleyball test that you can print off in your DragonFly account.

NIOA dues ($30) for all members and those wanting to join our association for the 2023-24 school year, are due August 1, 2023 for football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, track, baseball and softball officials. Future assigning of officials to contests, will be offered to our PAID NIOA members. The deadline for submitting 2023-24 NIOA member dues is August 21, 2023 for all officials. A $10 late fee will be added, if dues are not paid by Dec. 15, 2023. Make the check payable to NIOA and send it to Tim Esbeck the NIOA Treasurer at the address below. You can check to see if you have paid your dues, by clicking on the NIOA logo on your Arbiter home page and then clicking on the Membership Information tab in the NIOA website. Deadlines for paying dues before assignments are removed from an official's NIOA schedule is as follows: August 16, 2023 for (Football/Volleyball) - November 8, 2023 for (Basketball/Wrestling/Track) - May 16, 2024 for (Baseball/Softball)

NORTH IOWA OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION MISSION:

- Assist member officials improve their proficiency and efficiency in the interpretation and application of rules and officiating mechanics.
- Cultivate and improve the relationship between athletic officials and athletic directors, coaches, and players.
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of officiating and ethics for all athletic officials.
- Work in cooperation with the Iowa High School Athletic Association, Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union, and other local officials associations in support of high school athletics.
